European Movement Estonia NGO

Background information
European Movement Estonia NGO is National Co-ordinator for EURODESK, developing National Youth Portal and also issuing European Youth Cards. We would like to develop Mobile Youth Card (app) and advanced classical card, as a tool for youth work, together with local municipalities, county governments, Association of Open Youth Centres, National Youth Council, Tartu University and European Youth Card Association (EYCA). Is is based on model of social enterpreneurship and supports therefore possibilities for open youth centres to offer their services, together with young people and partners from Europe. Youth Card will be ‘the tool’ for people working with youth, having direct impact for the quality of services offered by youth centres and for information and participation of young people to the activities of youth centres, but also in the community life in general.
Target group the initiative is young people aged 14-26, using the services of youth centres and local community. We would like to start implementing the rewards and entitlement system also in Estonia, that is very well functioning in YoungScot, Scotland, for example.
In order to show our local partners the international dimension of the project and the experience of our foreign partners, we would like to implement this seminar together with you! There will be time to share best practices, to learn from each other and to better understand how representatives from different networks, namely EYCA, ERYICA and EURODESK could work together. Also, we would like to create the possibility for our Ministry of Education and Science and National Youth Work Centre to take part in the seminar.
