There is a new call for participants for a Traineeship at the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA).
The European Maritime Safety Agency offers traineeships for a period between 3 months and 5 months.
The traineeship programme aims to provide trainees with work experience in the field of maritime safety legislation, response to pollution at sea and cooperation among member states in safety at sea matters.
It will also enable trainees to acquire practical experience by means of their work and put into practice the knowledge they have acquired during their academic studies or professional careers.

For this call EMSA envisages to select fice trainees.
Starting date of the traineeships is 1st October 2013 and finishing on 28th February 2014.

The trainees will be awarded a monthly grant of € 924.29 and a travel allowance as indicated in the above mentioned decision.
The trainees will be assigned to work for the following Units complying with their studies and
competence:
- A.1 ‘Human Resources’
- A.2 ‘Legal and Financial Affairs’
- B.0.2 ´Training and Cooperation’
- B.1.4 ‘Analysis and Assessment’
- B.2 ‘Ship Safety’

Deadline: 24 July 2013 (Lisbon time).
