MAIN SUBJECT
Current economic circumstances challenge us with many limitations, most of them of financial nature. Children, youth or adults become increasingly disengaged in community activities because resources are limited. Both town and countryside has financial management issues and difficulties. Lack of civic education and financial responsibility has turned a lot of young people to excessive consumption without a correlation between expenses and income. Young people need to be real partners in relationship with adults in their community. In this context, we propose financial responsibility program and participatory civic skills to facilitate proper management of family resources and community involvement in accessing new resources, developing and managing community projects in addition to schools.
SEMINAR ISSUES
 Benefits of financial education to create an economy based on knowledge, innovation, high levels of education and skills, adaptability and creativity, inclusive labour markets and active involvement in society
 Improve knowledge and increase the capacity of youth and children to create personal budgets
 Setting objectives lead to economic behavior. We need clear boundaries between needs and wants
 Money’s psychology
 Loan only as an extreme necessity
 Financial negotiation techniques. „Win-win” strategies Used methods are: role playing, critical incident, technical scenarios, gallery tour, open space, debates, serious lego playing etc.

2 Any NGO’s from U. E. countries and Neighbouring Countries of the U.E. is welcome to participate. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
INFO
- The training will be hosted in the city of Piatra-Neamt, far away of Bucharest to 360 km.
- Training language will be English. Adequate knowledge of English language is required.
- Y.I.A. will cover 70% of the travel cost and 100% of accomodation and lodging, local transportation etc.
- The organizer is responsible for all the activities and costs, for this reason partners don’t have any preparation or activity cost implied.
