4-10 October 2013: World Space Week, Worldwide

The World Space Week is an international celebration of science and technology, and their contribution to the betterment of the human condition. The week is coordinated by the United Nations with the support of World Space Week. Government agencies, industry, non-profit organisations, teachers and even individuals can organise events to celebrate space. This year’s theme is : "Exploring Mars, Discovering Earth".
