12 August 2013: International Youth Day
The International Youth Day is celebrated every 12th August as declared by the United Nations General Assembly.
The theme chosen for this year is “Youth Migration: Moving Development Forward”. The theme is a global call to encourage young people across the world to celebrate the Day by focusing on the topic of youth migration.

The day will also be an opportunity to launch the 2013 World Youth Report, a global call to action for young men and women, as well as other stakeholders around the world, to develop and engage in partnerships with and for youth towards building a better world.
