Avusturya'da KA1 Ortaklığı

We are looking for Partners from YOUTH IN ACTION PROGRAMME COUNTRIES for the following project/youth exchange/KA1 in Erasmus+:

“Youth Creates Peace” in Trofaiach, Austria September 14th to 22nd 2014

Youth camp about human rights, peace and tolerance in the wonderful Austrian countryside! International Peace Day with a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate!

Aim of the Project is to give young Europeans the possibility of an international exchange, to bring young people from different countries together in Trofaiach, Austria, so they can explore their social and cultural differences and similarities and to contribute to the development and promotion of common European values.

We will organize workshops on: human rights, peace and tolerance, respect for other cultures and people. We’re focusing on intercultural competences, the skills to understand what appears to be foreign, to learn from and with each other. Together we will celebrate the international Peace Day on September 21st with a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.

3 groups of 20 youngsters (18 – 24 years old) will be formed to participate in workshops and events. Free time and sports activities will be organised as well.

Description of Art of Reconciliation GmbH: Art of Reconciliation initiates and organizes international art and cultural projects with regard to reconciliation. Description of Association Verein Art Mine: Art Mine is an association with its seat in Vordernberg, Austria, organizing cultural events with the aim to promote artists, culture and cultural exchange, but also values such as peace and respect for each other.

Partner role: Project coordinator: applying for the whole project on behalf of all the partner organisations. In charge of hosting the activity, developing a programme of activities for participants in cooperation with participants and partner organisations, providing support to participants during all the phases of the project.

Description of the collaboration sought:

Your role: Project coordinator in your group. Organize a group of 20 youngsters + 2 or 3 companion and actively participate during Youth Camp »Youth Creates Peace« in Trofaiach, Austria / in charge of sending young people abroad (this includes: organising practical arrangements; preparing participants before departure; providing support to participants during all the phases of the project). Companion actively participates in workshops, i.e. preparation and implementation of a workshop on an agreed theme.

Organisation types sought: Associations, NGO, European Youth NGO, a group of young people active in youth work but not necessarily in the context of a youth organisation (i.e. informal group of young people).
