Dear friends,

ATCE-Speranta Ramniceana from Romania has the pleasure to invite you to take part as volunteer/sending NGO in our EVS project that we are preparing in order to apply with at the October 1st deadline.   Should you be/know a person aged 18-30 years old, citizen of a European country, interested in non-formal education, personal and professional development and working with very young people, spread the news around that there is a chance to LIVE (Learn to be Involved, be Volunteer in Europe ) this in Romania in 2014.   We invite all interested and motivated young people to apply as there is an open call until 25 September. In order to apply, please send your updated resume (CV), a cover letter adapted to this project expressing your motivation, the attached participant form and Part 3 dully filled to these e-mail addresses: strimbeid@gmail.com and office@atcesr.ro, contact person Daniela Strimbei. Please note that only applications that include all documents shall be considered. It is the responsibility of the young applicant to look for an organisation accredited as EVS sending NGO, from whom we would need the Part 3 document attached filled as word form and after being confirmed as partner we need it signed, stamped and sent in original.

Title: Learn to be Involved, be Volunteer in Europe - LIVE

Implementation: 25 April-25 October 2014 (6 months)

Detailed activities plan:  25 April-15 May 2014- introduction and training on non-formal education methods and youthwork 15 May-15 June 2014- stage in kindergarten and primary schools in Ramnicu Sarat Part I 15 June-15 September- stage at the FORTES Youth Centre in Ramnicu Sarat working with local volonteers, teenagers and children 15 September-15 October 2014- stage in kindergarten and primary schools in Ramnicu Sarat Part II 15 October- 25 October – reflection, evaluation and future plans   Aim: Implementing a system of non-formal learning by introducing within the educational offer of schools and kindergartens several non-formal education tools and methods.

Objectives: - Providing the framework in which 5 EVS volonteers shall acquire and develop skills and competencies in terms of learning and implementing non-formal education tools and methods in youth work, specially working with children aged 4-11 years old. - Supporting the idea of including non-formal education tools and methods in formal education in primary school and kindergarten as to increase the educational offer of the latter. - Experiencing the process of intercultural learning between the 5 volonteers and the locals (values, language, traditions, customs

Proposed activities: forum theatre, labyrinth theatre, Photovoice, Public Cafe, flashmob, energizers, fishbowl, debate, open space as to propose and implement methods and tools already known or newly designed by the EVS volonteers, role play, living library etc.
