Call for participants: World Forum for Democracy 2013
The [ http://www.coe.int/en/web/european-youth-foundation ]European Youth Foundation is inviting youth representatives to the 2013 edition of the World Forum for Democracy (WFD) taking place in in Strasbourg on 27-29 November.
The second edition of the Forum will focus on re-connecting citizens with institutions and re-inventing democratic participation in the digital age.
The Forum will consist of discussions about experimental initiatives and innovative ideas that have the ambition to amplify citizen voices, increase institutions’ transparency and responsiveness, re-focus on common interest and enable more deliberation and citizen influence on decision-making.

40 young participants, from 18 to 30 years old, residents in one of the 50 signatories of the European Cultural Convention, representatives of youth NGOs active at local, regional, national or European level, will be selected by the Council of Europe Youth Department.

Board, lodging and travel costs will be covered by the Council of Europe.
